Update

This website continues to grow exponentially.  We've had now over 75,000 hits from people in 56 countries and territories since starting in January of this year.  We average several people a day signing up to be on the e-mail list to receive our monthly newsletter update alerting everyone to the new recordings and articles as I post them on this site.  And for all of this, we give God the praise.

Within the last couple of weeks, I have been given reel to reel recordings of Howard Carter from a church in Springfield, MO.  These have never been released to the public or copied before being given to me.  They are being taken from the reels and changed over to mp3 on CD's by Rev. Doug Bonner to prepare them to be uploaded to this website.  I am excited, and looking forward to hearing these treasures.  I'll bet you are too!

Changeover to mp3

My two sermons that I am currently making available over this site, "Make the Crooked Ways Straight," and "Receiving Your Day of Visitation," have been converted to an mp3 format and can be downloaded to play in recorders and on i-pods.  More recordings are being converted as I write this and should begin to be available in 4 or 5 weeks.  This will make the recordings more easily downloadable by putting them in the latest generation of audio format.  My thanks to Rev. Doug Bonner, and to Mrs. Anette Daniel for their volunteer work in transferring these recordings to mp3.  I truly thank God for people who are taking ahold of this vision with us and helping us get these recordings and materials out to the world.

T. L. Osborn Recordings

Knowing that F.F. Bosworth had come out of retirement during the Healing Revival of the 1940's and 1950's, to mentor a young Oral Roberts and T.L. Osborn, I sent a copy of Bosworth's recording from this site to Oral Roberts and to T.L. Osborn.  I received a kind acknowledgment from Richard Roberts, and a gracious two-page letter from Brother Osborn.  I had asked T.L. if he would visit my website, observe what we are doing, and consider allowing us to host on this site some of his recorded sermons from the Healing Revival days.
                                                                           Rev. T.L and Daisy Osborn

I met with Brother Osborn's daughter LaDonna Osborn recently, and she and her father have entrusted me with six recordings.  Three are of T.L. and three of his wife Daisy.  These are being prepared to upload to this site soon.  In Missouri, when we are excited about something we say we are just "beside ourselves."  Well, I am beside myself at this opportunity.  Praise God.
                                                                 Rev. LaDonna Osborn and Mel.
Whenever I meet someone in ministry whom I've heard about for years, I always wonder what kind of person they will turn out to be.  The people whom God has brought across my path so far have proven out to be wonderful people who have encouraged me greatly in what we're doing in ministry:
Richard and Lindsay Roberts, Jack Coe Jr., Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan, Billye Brim, Kenneth Hagin Jr., Bishop Anthony D'Onofrio, Roberts Liardon, Don Clowers, Joyce Meyer, and others.  Some I've met in person, others I've just exchanged e-mails with and have talked with on the phone.   To this list of people who have been kind and encouraging I now add Sister LaDonna Osborn.
                                                                     Rev. LaDonna Osborn

Clarity and precision are two adjectives that come to mind to describe her.  Clear in what she likes and does not like, precise in what she believes and does not believe.  Ministering with her parents around the world, growing up knowing many of the faith giants of yesteryear, has given her great insight into ministry protocols and a substantial understanding from which to craft a balanced and scriptural message.

Like Richard Roberts and Charles Goodwin, Sister LaDonna Osborn has inherited a tremendous spiritual legacy from her parents, is very conscious and protective of that legacy, yet has carved out a ministry identity of her own.

I'm really looking forward to making the Osborn recordings available on this site in the next 3 or 4 weeks.

New Article:
End Time Prophecy:

The Lord has been emphasizing to me from His word and by His Spirit several signs of the End Times that we are ignoring and of which we are largely unaware.  In "Part I" I begin teaching what has been shown to me.  There will be a Part II, and possibly a Part III.  I've submitted this article to some seasoned ministers of the Gospel, one with an advanced Theological degree who has told me he has never before heard the argument I present, but that it is solid.  (Truthfully, I had never heard it before either until the Lord made it to me).   I respect my friend's professional theological opinion.  He judged my argument to be "hermeneutically sound," which I think means that it jives with the Bible.  :)

New Recordings:

I am honored to announce to you that we now have two new David Duplessis Recordings on the website:

Description of Recording:  Excellent! That's the only word to describe this recording. Simply, excellent. This is the most intelligent teaching I've ever heard on how to stir up the gift of God within you.

     And:

Description of Recording:  Ahhhhhh!!!  What a treasure this recording is!  Beginning in John 19:23, describing events that took place at Christ's crucifixion, Du Plessis examines the vast difference between the doctrine and person of Jesus Christ.  Why does the Church world have so much doctrine, and so little experience?

Holy Ghost Meetings:

My friends, if you are anywhere near the Tulsa, Oklahoma area I urge you with all of my heart to get in on Sister Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan's Holy Ghost meetings which she holds the third Friday evening of every month beginning at 7:30 pm.  I never miss them if my schedule allows me to come.  It is well worth it to me to make the nearly 2 hour drive to Collinsville.

Sister Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan grew up attending Aimee Semple McPherson's church, graduated from Rhema's first graduating class, travelled and ministered with Billye Brim for years, knew the Goodwins and Brother Hagin well, and is very developed in the things of the Spirit.  She preaches sound messages and allows the Holy Spirit to flow.  I was in her meeting last night and received from God a healing and the answer to a trying situation I am going though--all without Sister Elizabeth even knowing I had a problem.  God knew, and God moved.

The Holy Ghost meetings begin at 7:30 pm, and are held at:

     A Glorious Church
     915 N. 19th
     Collinsville, OK  74021.
     918-371-4589

The next meetings will be held on:

     Friday October 19th
     Friday November 16th
     Friday December 21st.

     Mark your calendars!

 A Word from Brother Mel:

My word to you is simply, "thank you."  Thank you for all the kind e-mails in which you have shared your thoughts and asked your questions.  I personally read and answer every e-mail that comes in.  With the volume of e-mails and the demands on my time, it takes me awhile to answer though, so please be patient!  Your words of encouragement have blessed my heart greatly.  Thank you also for those of you who have sown financial seeds into this ministry.  Although we offer these recordings for free, there are expenses involved in maintaining a website on the internet, gathering and transferring recordings, and so on.  When you sow a financial seed, you help us carry the load, and I thank you.

Please pray for more doors to open for us to hold meetings in local churches.  The meetings we have held so far have been good, and have been the beginning of life-long ministry relationships.  However, we have openings in our schedule yet for 2007 and 2008.  This ministry and website does not memorialize the past, but demonstrates what God still does by His Spirit when we understand His ways and learn to yield to Him.

     God bless you all.

     Kind Regards,

     Brother Mel
