Important Announcement:

This e-mail newsletter is a particularly long one, covering the months of April, May, and June because I will be taking these months off to focus on restructuring the website.

We have experienced explosive growth, which necessitates some changes to accommodate the increased numbers of visitors. We will also begin making these recordings and articles available by podcast so that people can download them directly to their i-pods. Podcsts will further increase our outreach. When this restructuring is over, we will have a much improved website that will offer more choices and will be easier to use.

Please continue to send me your e-mails, and I will answer them as I have the opportunity. I appreciate those of you also who have stepped forward and supported us financially. Please continue to do so. There will be considerable time and expense involved in making these necessary changes.

The Enemy attacked Pastor Larry with a serious heart condition recently. This is a remarkable man of God who has been a friend and mentor to me for a number of years and was one of the first to believe in the calling God has put on my life.

I am pleased to report that Rev. Bjorklund's health seems to have stabilized as he awaits a heart transplant. Let's continue in prayer and believe that a manifestation of God's healing power will make a transplant unnecessary.

New Format:

In the near future, we will be begin offering these recordings and articles in a popdcast form that will be directly downloadable to ipods. The Lord has sent me a person to help with this format change. I'm looking forward to offering you this new format option.

Both men are my friends and they have made a profound impression on me in private conversations. I urge everyone to partake of as many as possible of Gil's videos by live streaming, and Joe's by DVD. Keith Edwards

Keith Edwards has made a strong and positive impression on me. I have enjoyed our conversations immensely.

When I hear his music, the first word that comes to my mind is "Honesty." His music is recorded in a spirit of humility and honesty that in turn, inspires the same measure of humility and honesty in his listeners.

Brother Keith also seems to me to have a prophetic edge to his ministry. Some of his comments to me cut right to the heart of current controversies and expose the flaws of erroneous teachings, while yet remaining in a spirit of love and mercy. His music and words show to me a unique combination of humility, honesty, discerning, insight, love, and mercy that I have encountered only a few times in my years in ministry. I believe in my spirit that if this young man will maintain these qualities, he will continue to be a vessel fit for the Master's use, accomplishing much for the Kingdom of God. His music refreshes me, and I am glad for the opportunity to share some of it with you.

A Word From Brother Mel:

Hello Friends and Ministry Partners,

Great changes are going on in my life, ministry, and in my heart.

The Word of God becomes more precious to me with each passing day.

As I have discussed various scriptures, doctrines, and spiritual principles with Dr. Charles Goodwin, I believe I've learned more in the last 90 days than I learned in the previous 4 or 5 years. It is an eye-opening experience to talk with a bona fide Theologian and expert on New Testament Greek, who is not hostile to Charismatics.

Charles understands Charismatic issues and teachings, and can speak objectively concerning them--where we're right, and where we're wrong--without pushing some sort of man-made or denominational agenda. I feel like I am learning from Charles Goodwin as much about the Word, as I learned about the Spirit from his mother. I'm excited about bringing to you more articles by Charles in the near future. I believe God has truly brought Charles Goodwin to us in the Word of Faith for "such a time as this" when we realize we need to change some of our approaches, and adjust some of our teachings. No man is better qualified than Charles to help and bless us at this time.

Due partially, I think, to coming into a fresh understanding of the sound doctrines of God's word, there has also come a freshness and a refreshing into my spirit. God has imparted some new things to me from His Spirit. Glory to God.

The Lord is also bringing about new divine relationships between me and ministers who have contacted me through the website. And several of these men are speaking words of great encouragement into my heart, life, and ministry.

I am hearing good reports that behind the scenes in some WOF ministries, ministers are taking a look at some of the things they are preaching, deciding that some of their teachings are not really supported by scripture, and they are quietly adjusting their teachings. Many are beginning to separate the wheat from the chaff, and in this I believe God is well pleased. Praise God.

I am excited at the prospect of making these articles and recordings available in podcasts. This will open up a new area of outreach for us to multitudes who do not know of our website or the availability of these wonderful recordings and teachings.

April 30th, is my 49th birthday. Gee, I'll then be just one year away from the big 5-0.
