Prophecy
Dear Friends and partners, The Spirit of Prophecy came upon me last night, and the Lord gave me a word that I believe I am to share with the Body of Christ as a whole:
"A Time of Correction" August 14, 2007
A New Recording of F. F. Bosworth F. F. Bosworth Bosworth at Azusa with
Seymour and John G. Lake
F. F. Bosworth was one of the Pentecostal giants of old. Bosworth was filled with the Spirit under Charles Parham's ministry. As you can see from the pictures above, Bosworth visited the Azusa Revival along with John G. Lake and sat under the ministry of William Seymour. Best known for his classic book, "Christ the Healer," Bosworth had a very powerful healing ministry in the 1920's and 1930's. He came out of retirement in the 1940's to mentor two young Healing Revivalists that had just come on the scene: Oral Roberts and T.L. Osborn.
Bosworth went to Glory in 1958, shouting "Hallelujah! This is the greatest day of my life! I get to go see my Savior today!" Bosworth's son gave this recording to our friend Doug Bonner. My thanks to Brother Doug for sharing this recording with me, and my thanks also to Bosworth's granddaughter for giving me her blessing to share this recording with you. Lastly, my thanks goes out also to Brother Roscoe Barnes for providing me details of Bosworth's life that I was able to use to write a mini-biography of him for this site.
How can we post a sermon preached by by F. F. Bosworth in 1954, and refer to it as a "new" recording? I call it "new" because since it was recorded in 1954, it has never been released to the public before now.
Here is the link to Bosworth's recording:

Read it and Weep
Frankly, in many ways the Word of Faith/ Charismatic branch of Christianity is in trouble. I've created a new section "Read it and Weep," on which I post articles that expose the error and sin that are present in our circles. To read them, please click:

A New Series of Articles:
Why Did The Glory Leave US?
By Rev. Mel C. Montgomery

Article I: The Glory is Gone
Prophets, Apostles, and Healing Evangelists are finally admitting it:
The Glory is gone.
Oh, they aren't admitting it openly and directly. To do so would be a "negative confession." But they are admitting it quietly and indirectly. Nearly every Charismatic Christian television program, book, and CD is proclaiming to us “The Glory is coming!” And, “Get ready for the Glory!” Also, “Pray for the Glory to come again!”
For it to "come" it has to be presently absent.
In other words, "gone."
The Glory left us.

A Real Awakening
The Pentecostal Outpouring began in 1900 in Topeka, Kansas in a Bible School run by a holiness preacher no one had ever heard of--Charles Parham. The fire of that move of God was picked up by William Seymour and taken out to an abandoned building in downtown Los Angeles, and that fire burned hotter and hotter until it eventually spread around the world.
The Healing Revival began in the mid-1940's in the hearts of Oral Roberts--a stuttering preacher from the middle of nowhere, T.L. Osborn--a farmboy from Oklahoma, and in the hearts of other obscure individuals.
Why is it that in every move of God we know about, God has had to leave the national Christian leaders of the day on the sidelines, and seek out nobodies in the middle of nowhere?
I don't know.
But in my opinion, He is doing it again.
Most of our national Charismatic leaders seem to be stuck in one of three places. One group is preaching the same sermons nearly word for word that they preached 30 years ago, and they have become dry as dust. Another group is stuck in a never-ending telethon screaming, weeping, and begging for money, and they are raking in the money hand over fist, but there is little real anointing in any of it. And the last group prophesy non-stop, not knowing or caring whether they are porphesying under the unction of the Holy Spirit or under the influence of psychic spirits.
But I am ENCOURAGED!
Do you know why?
Because I am seeing more and more ministers and congregations that do not fit into any of those three groups.
I finally have some company! I don't fit into those groups either.
I don't know what term to use to call us by. Post-Word of Faith? Reformed Charismatic? Recovering Pentecostals? Maybe we need to invent an entirely new moniker. But I am seeing more and more Spirit-filled Christians who are waking up, growing in God, maturing in character, and developing some discerning. They are opting-out of the get-rich-quick schemes, and the get-anointed-overnight schemes that are offered by too many national Charismatic ministries, and they are seeking out true holiness, and are feeding on the meat of God's word.
And God is moving in their midst!
One pastor I respect, who has disconnected from much of the national Charismatic extremes, e-mailed me today and told me that he is experiencing a real move of God in his church. He has been used in spiritual gifts for years, having learned from his pastor, who had learned from the Goodwins. Now, he is seeing his church members begin to be used in genuine spiritual operations also.
Another pastor that I know has just finished furnishing his new staff training center. He and his staff are in one accord, and they are pressing forward in God. He reports that just as he was getting ready to go to bed one night a few weeks ago, the Lord visited him and began revealing to him wonderous fresh spiritual truths he is now sharing with his congregation.
My friends, God IS moving. As far as I can tell, He is moving again among the non-famous that few have heard of before. And He is raising up a whole new generation of leaders who have seen the excesses of the present and the past, and want no part of them.
If you are not seeing yet much change or evidence of God's presence, I encourage you to keep pressing in. God is no respecter of persons. Turn off the TV, lay down the latest Christian gimmick book, pick up your Bible, and study and seek God for yourself. Visit our site from time to time, listen to these recordings and let them bolster your faith to believe God for more. Keep seeking God until He shows up.
Remember what Peter said of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit:
"For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call." Acts 2:39.
It is for YOU too. Amen!
God Bless you. Kind Regards,
Brother Mel
